Oh, hi there!

I’m Erika, the owner and baker behind The Eager Baker. By day, I’m a Dementia Consultant, and by night, I’m creating delicious, handcrafted treats in the kitchen. Baking has always been my passion—it’s my creative outlet and a way for me to share joy through a variety of gourmet goods.

My love for working with people and baking has always gone hand in hand. My experience in healthcare has given me the opportunity to teach baking classes to a variety of populations. One day, the dream is to open a storefront with an additional recreational kitchen, where I can teach baking as a form of therapy.

All our baking is made in a fully licensed and certified kitchen that meets public health standards. We currently reside in The Cake Collective’s commercial kitchen in Mississauga.
